I would like to thank all of you for supporting the Demo Day. The sales representatives from, Titleist, Cobra, Taylor Made, our own Scratch Golf, Ping, Nike and Callaway were impressed with your support, so thank you again for helping to make it a successful day. The 2010 Pre Masters tournament is a great annual event that kicks off the golfing season and we had yet another great turnout. Congratulations to the winners a

nd thank you to those that participated!! Lookout Mountain Golf Club is hosting the Women’s Southern Amateur Championship May 31st – June 4th, the golf course will be closed during this week to member play but will reopen Saturday June 5th. I have made arrangements for our members to play at the Canyon Ridge Club during this week. If you have any questions or need directions please contact the Golf Shop at 706-820-0719 ext. 11. Don’t forget about the 2nd Annual Beat the Pros scheduled for Saturday May 29th, grab a partner and try to beat the Better Ball of your golf professionals, Adam Campbell and Jon Cumber (Net scores are allowed). Make your wager before you tee off and if you “Beat the Pros” you double your money in Golf Shop Credit. If you have ventured out to the Oehmig Center you have noticed we have upgraded the balls there to enhance your practicing experience. We are providing DT Carry and Rolls balls from Titleist now and are asking members use them at the Oehmig Center only.
